Diabetes is basically a health complication in which the blood sugar level of an individual rises higher than the normal expected level. Diabetes is characterised as two types: Type 1 and Type 2. An individual suffering from Type 1 diabetes does not produce insulin, while in Type 2 diabetes the body produces insufficient insulin or does not respond to the insulin produced. There are many reliable diabetes treatments available these days.
Metformin is helpful in treating Type 2 diabetes by controlling the blood sugar level in the body. Your body produces glucose when you consume food. Metformin tablets work by decreasing the quantity of glucose absorbed in the body. It also helps in regulating the amount of glucose produced by the liver in response to insulin. This treatment is not prescribed for Type 1 diabetes as it can only be treated with the help of insulin injections.
This diabetes treatment is to be taken twice a day and comes in the dosage strength of 500mg. It should only be taken if it is prescribed to you by a licensed doctor. You should follow the process of regular blood tests so that there is a check on your blood sugar level. Sometimes the extreme case of diabetes can also lead to high cholesterol which can further cause serious heart complications. Hence, it is better to seek treatment as early as possible. You can buy this medication from any of the online pharmaceuticals after an easy and free online consultation with doctor.

Whether your treatment consists of diet alone, diet and tablets or diet and insulin, you need regular blood tests to keep a check on your blood sugar. Investigating the diabetes patient’s urine samples will not result in correct way.
Haemoglobin Test: The strength of the glycosylated haemoglobin (HbA1c) increases with its level when the blood glucose levels are more than 200mg/l for at least eight to ten weeks. With the help of a HBA1C measurement one can get to know the control of blood glucose before two to three months but the blood glucose value can be estimated at the time of blood sample test. If the percentage value of HbA1c is 6-7% then it states that the severity of diabetes is in good control but the typical level is 7%. One has to maintain a normal blood glucose level which is 90-130 mg/dl while fasting and it has to be less than 180 mg/dl after meals. When you go with the insulin treatment, has to check blood glucose level very often.
Capillary Blood Glucose Test: If there is any blood sugar level defects you need to handle a test with a glucometer. This glucometer will help; you should not prick yourself hard, do not press hard the finger in order to bring out a sample from the pricked area. This invariably gives a low glucose value.
Urine Test: Urine test cannot determine the presence of diabetes in the patient, the presence or accumulation of sugar molecules in the urine mostly exceeds 180 mg/dl. This test cannot assess the control of diabetes.

When diabetes is found in a child, entire family gets shocked and gets worried about it, as it is very difficult to understand different aspects of diabetes and its treatment for children. As the treatment of diabetes in child really needs patience, special attention is to be given to child. It is the responsibility of the parent to give him extra love and affection and special attention towards him regarding the proper treatment, medications, diet etc. should be given as the children are not matured and they are able to understand the serious problem of diabetes.
It is not possible for anyone to go daily to hospital for its treatment and to take insulin injection. Now here the parents themselves have to work as doctor for their child. Parent will have to learn how to inject insulin in skin, over the abdomen or thighs and will have to give child daily injection, and giving a daily injection to child is not as easy, as to convince him is very difficult. So they will have to pay extra care love and affection and make him comfortable. Parent will have to know symptoms of blood glucose and diabetic acidosis and what to do for it. They will have to measure blood glucose level and will have to teach him how to do this as soon as he grows up. They will also have to teach him how to take insulin injection by himself as soon as he is around 9 years.
It is really very difficult for a parent to see all this and give him this kind of treatment but they have to do it with lots of care and love so as to save his future from some major health risk.

Most people have symptoms of diabetes unnoticed for a long period of time, for as long as 5 to 7 years and the disease goes undiscovered.
There are some main symptoms that indicate existence of diabetes in a human body. They include frequent urination and excessive thirst. Other symptoms include loss of appetite weakness and fatigue. Sugar is very essential to a human body and its absence causes these symptoms. Hence it feels like diabetes is a viral disease. When the body is attempting to compensate for the loss of sugar and fluid the diabetic may consume more food and gain weight. Exact opposite case is also not ruled out. Also it’s possible that the diabetic may eat more but still lose weight. When there is a high sugar level in the blood, fluids from the cells of the tissue are extracted. In this process even the eye lens is affected and hence can cause blurred vision and lowers the ability of focusing. This can be avoided by controlling sugar levels. Also diabetes affects the ability to heal and fight against infection. That is the reason why a diabetes patient needs to be very careful and avoid physical injuries and wounds. Women suffer from vaginal and bladder infections. The teeth gums may become tender and swollen and puss pockets and sores are developed. This is more true if you have gum infection even before any sign of diabetes. The risk of infection is more in bones.

All the cases of diabetes patients including woman, men, and children around the world, diabetes has been classified into three types. They are type1, type2 diabetes and gestational diabetes.
In type1 diabetes, the body stops or decreases the production of insulin that leads to the destructions of beta cells. If this beta cell is destroyed then it will never be able to create insulin again. It is reportedly occurs to the people below the age of 30 and even in children.
It has a variety of names like juvenile diabetes, brittle diabetes, and sugar diabetes. This type of diabetes is usually develops in the children or in teenagers. We can also call this as autoimmune disease. It is a kind of disorder, which remains for life long.
Type2 diabetes is normally caused due to the increase of sugar level in blood and increased production of insulin. The body develops resistance to the insulin being produced. The patients, who are affected with this type of diabetes will be suffering with the symptom like increased thirst, lose of their weight and exhaustion. It is also known as the NON INSULIN DEPENDENT DIABETES MELLITUS (NIDDM). It will not occur in the younger people who are below 30 years of age or even less.
The other type of diabetes is GESTATIONAL diabetes, which occurs to the women in their second half of the pregnancy. Proper care has to taken by pregnant women so that it will not affect the child during her pregnancy. There are chances that type2 diabetes will affect them in their later stage of their life.
